Super clean and well-done RAC Performance built 996 Twin Turbo. This is my personal car and I am a fanatic about care. The car is incredibly well maintained, wiped down after every drive, the interior stays conditioned and clean, and ran on average every other week. You’ll see this depicted in the photos as the paint is in excellent condition and the interior is fantastic. I turned the car over to RAC with a big budget and no time to nickel and dime. My goal was to strip it down, basically replace almost all gaskets, O rings, hoses, the entire cooling system, including new OEM Radiators-I’m in Texas heat… the goal was front to back freshen up… if a part was worn, it was likely replaced to prepare for performance upgrades. No sticky buttons.

You’ll see all of this in the photos. I have two folders of work receipts dating back to the original owner and a full detail of my modifications and work… over 40k plus in work, upgrades, wheels, etc.… I stopped counting. Did it need it all done… No, but I wanted it as perfect as possible. Most gaskets and seals, including the rear main, are replaced down to even the cleaned injectors and O rings.

Moving to improved performance, I wanted to maintain the everyday drivability of the car, but bring it into modern-day Turbo specs and beyond. The original K-16 Turbos were sent to Ultimate Motorwerks to build their Stage 2 Billet Units, within my cases, and billet 1 Bar Wastegates. Virtually no lag with these units. UMW is very good. I also replace the oil sumps for the turbos, all lines, and actuators. Actual turbos are pictured. The end result is excellent drivability, a much longer and improved torque curve, and of course great power. I held back at 1.2 Bar on the boost, with a conservative timing curve and safe AFR. The car is not raced or tracked. The performance of the package is night and day different from stock, but allowing you to still cruise at O Bar in 5th or 6th and maintain an average miles per gallon in the mid to high twenties, as well as great around town efficiency. It’s just an incredible car with an amazing feel and is very predictable. I’ve raced cars my entire life, and the mechanical feel, yet modern-day refinements of the 996 is awesome. Rev limit is set at 7,500, yet remained conservative against the UMW tune, with plenty of fuel if you wanted to go next level with a race tune or push it farther. Time at 7,250 or above throughout its entire life is 1 second out of 2,610 operating hours or 69k miles. The car will come with a Porsche Durometric for data, and a UMW tuning module with multiple tunes, as well as full instructions. The tune was written with data from this setup and not off the shelf.

The new owner will be undoubtedly impressed and need to do absolutely nothing to this car. The AC is ice cold and the car will run in the Texas heat all day at 180 degrees. I have new cars and projects coming and need to clear some garage space. Someone is going to get a great build. Also to note, as the upgrades are highlighted, all original parts were kept and will come with the car… Original Intercoolers, Exhaust, Turbo Twist Wheels in perfect shape with Tires, Original Shifter, Original Hydraulic Wing System-It has the X-Fast E Ram to eliminate any leaks or wing failure, etc… Also, the rubber seals throughout the car are in new condition, nothing leaks, no wind noises, all fluids, including trans, are flushed and new. Recent smoke and pressure tests have been run to assure there are no boost leaks. Receipts will document all the work. It’s too much to list. I welcome full and detailed inspections. The only issue in its history was with a previous owner. He was bumped in a parking lot and replaced the front bumper. Very minimal. I have the $2,500 repair receipt documenting the work. Removed and replaced the front bumper per professional shop.

The car is ready to go the distance and enjoy.
